Just Unwind, a self-catering guesthouse in South Africa, offers premier hospitality services for both local and international travelers.

Jacqui, who hails from Gauteng and has been living in the beautiful Cape for almost 30 years, manages the daily operations of the guesthouse. Having lived in four different countries, she speaks English, French, and Afrikaans fluently. Her passions are hiking, traveling, spending time in nature, and the arts. Currently, her daughter is completing high school in South Africa.

Robert serves as our groundskeeper and also assists with guest arrivals and departures. He has a particular interest in sewing.

Our housekeeping staff consists of Mavis, Emily, and Geraldine, who come from various regions of Southern Africa. We warmly welcome you to Just Unwind.

Our self-catering cottages gives an opportunity to be surrounded with nature and experience a serene stay and a chance to visit the popular tourist destinations near by. The perfect place to unwind, relax in comfort and take an uncrowded, undisturbed break, they offer accessibility and privacy and affordable comfort.

Our high-class spacious cottages are well-equipped with luxurious linen and beautiful furnishings. Wifi access is available throughout. A baby feeding chair and cot are available on request, as well as extra stretcher beds. A fully equipped kitchen in five of the cottages allows you to make your own meals. Each room has a kettle and microwave for making refreshments. Each of our units has its own enclosed parking space and ample safe street parking is also available.

Additional Services

In the summer season, cool off in the saltwater swimming pool. We also offer a laundry service, an iron and ironing board on request, and we provide towels for use at the pool.

No South African holiday is complete without a “braai” (barbecue), so grab the tools and enjoy a delicious meal with your family and friends. Various activities in the surrounding area include fine dining and wine tasting in the vineyards, mountain biking, hiking, enjoying the beach, golf courses and more. We are happy to help you organise the booking of your activities and tours, as well as a shuttle service to and from the airport.
